FAQ's

If you have absolutely no idea what flexi-education is, then don't worry. I'll help answer all your questions. Most of the information is here - but feel free to get in touch to ask more!

What is Flexi Education ?

Flexi education is the ability for parents to keep their children attending a mainstream school, whilst attending alternative provision for part of the school week. For more information on this please refer to page three of this Kirklees Guidance document.

2

Is this relevant to my child ?

If your child is coping in mainstream school, but is finding it challenging and you feel that a full mainstream school week is detrimental to their needs, then we may be for you.

However, if your child has significant learning needs and you are looking for a specialist provision, unfortunately this isn't something we are able to offer.

3

Will my child's school allow this ?

Please refer to page three of the guidelines here.

Schools are not legally bound to grant flexi education, and this must be agreed in advance with the headteacher of your child's school.

However, most schools will have the best interests of your child at heeart.

4

How much does it cost ?

We charge £45 per day. This is payable per term in advance. Personal tutoring can cost upwards of £35 per hour.

5

I home educate my child. Is this appropriate for them?

Absolutely!
